This seminar will delve into the common feeling amongst new/incoming students to university, namely, the overwhelming feeling of not belonging, feeling like an “imposter.” This session will also branch out into a larger discussion on what counts as ‘legitimate knowledge,’ valuing our own lived experience, alternative knowledge systems and the know-how we bring as diverse and complex individuals with lives, work experience and skills beyond the walls of the university.
