Almost 10 years ago Owen Blakka Ellis as part of his MES produced a film titled Where are the Black Faculty in FES? Almost a decade later, students still organize around the shortage of Black faculty across FES and the broader YORKU Community. Across the York University campus, Blackness continues to be invisible despite a large Black student population. Join us in discussing the increasing barriers Black students face as they navigate anti-Black racism on campus.
